I have been freelance now since 2005. Before then...

Graphic Designer Manchester Area Resource Centre (Marc Itd.)
I was responsible for designing all of Marc's own printed materials. I provided a design service for the centre and jointly responsible for the print service. As part of the centres training programme l ran regular courses in design and layout, desk top publishing and image manipulation as well as providing design help to the users on a daily basis.

Graphic designer IEC consultant Save the Children Fund (US), Kathmandu, Nepal
A four week consultancy to prepare the first photonovella to be produced in the country. An educational tool for health workers as part of the HIV/AIDS programme working with prostitutes to encourage the use of condoms.

1993-l995
Graphic Designer/project co-ordinator World Health Organisation Health Learning Materials Project, Mongolia.
As the designer for the project I was responsible for all in-house materials and the training of representatives of the main health institutes of the country in graphic design, DTP operation and the publishing process. As the project co-ordinator I ran the office and the project printshop.

I produced visual aids and a range of publicity materials.

1991-1992
Graphic designer/communications worker Save The Children Fund/ Britain Nepal Medical Trust, Nepal.
l produced health education materials for both organisations and ran training courses to develop the design and communications skills of their training staff.

I designed and produced all of Marc's printed materials, developed the design skills of the users of the centre through regular training courses and taught the use of the centres printing equipment.

As well as producing all of SCVS's own materials I set up a design and print service for the organisation and its users
